Negri, President and CEO has received the Jeffrey Butland Family-Owned Business of the Year Award from the U.S. Small Business Administration, Region II. The Jeffrey Butland Family-Owned Small Business Award honors a family-owned and operated business, which has been passed on from one generation to another. Success is measured by sales, profits and potential for continued long-term growth. Community contributions are considered, as well as increased employment opportunities.
On April 22, 2009. Mr. Negri was presented with this prestigious award at a ceremony hosted by the USSBA in New York City. As pointed out by SBA District Director Alfred J. Titone: Successful family owned enterprises are becoming rarer each year and JBC's longevity, the growth it has experienced under multiple generations of Negri family ownership and the value it has placed on its employees and the benefits provided to them, not only benefit JBC but the community and the industries it supports.
